Los Angeles based rockers, Renegade, will reprise their top billing role at this Saturday’s Los Angeles Street Scene Festival. Drummer Luis Cardenas, fresh off the road in support of his most recent solo album, will appear with the band, quelling rumors of his departure. Norman Winter, the band’s publicity agent told the Times that Cardenas “has never even considered leaving the band, and looks forward to Saturday’s performance.” . . . “Growing up in East Los Angeles, the members of Renegade regularly support community events, such as the Street Scene,” said Winter. Last year’s event drew more than 150,000 spectators, making it the largest event sponsored by the City of Los Angeles.
